Terms of service

Last Updated: October 15, 2026

These Terms of Service (β€œTerms”) govern use of LithiumBatteryRepair.com and repair services provided by Volt Core Inc. (β€œVolt Core,” β€œwe,” β€œus,” or β€œour”). By purchasing a service or sending a battery or component to Volt Core Inc., you agree to these Terms, our Shipping Policy, Refund & Warranty Policy, and applicable service-specific terms.

1. Repair Services

Unless specifically stated otherwise, listings on LithiumBatteryRepair.com are for repair services performed on customer-owned batteries or components and are not sales of replacement batteries.

2. Customer Diagnosis

The customer is responsible for diagnosing the vehicle and selecting the appropriate repair service. Volt Core Inc.'s receipt or repair of a battery does not constitute diagnosis of the entire vehicle. Other vehicle systems, wiring, charging systems, control modules, programming, installation, communication networks, or electrical faults may cause similar symptoms.

3. Eligibility and Compatibility

Customers are responsible for verifying applicable part numbers, vehicle application, physical condition, and service eligibility requirements before ordering. Volt Core Inc. makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information but reserves the right to decline an incorrect or ineligible battery.

4. Repairability

Purchasing a repair service does not guarantee that a battery can be successfully repaired. Internal damage, failed cells, electronic failures, corrosion, secured electronics, physical damage, prior modifications, or previous repair attempts may prevent successful repair. Non-repairable batteries are handled according to our Refund & Warranty Policy.

5. Repair Authorization

By purchasing a service and sending the component to Volt Core Inc., the customer authorizes procedures reasonably necessary to evaluate and perform the purchased service, including inspection, disassembly, electrical testing, charging/discharging, cell balancing, component replacement, soldering, BMS work, reading or modifying electronic data, resetting, programming, cloning, restoring data, and post-repair testing when reasonably necessary.

6. Inherent Electronic Repair Risk

Automotive lithium batteries and electronic components may have pre-existing, hidden, intermittent, or progressive failures. Reasonable repair procedures may reveal or worsen an existing condition or result in an already-defective component becoming non-responsive or unrecoverable. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Volt Core Inc. is not responsible solely because a pre-existing defective condition worsens during a reasonable repair attempt.

7. Previously Repaired or Opened Components

Volt Core Inc. reserves the right to accept or decline previously opened, modified, tampered-with, damaged, or previously repaired batteries. If accepted, Volt Core Inc. is not responsible for defects, missing components, altered data, damage, poor workmanship, or other conditions caused by prior repair attempts or modifications.

8. Removed Components

Unless otherwise agreed in writing before repair begins, components removed and replaced during service may become the property of Volt Core Inc. for recycling, disposal, analysis, or other appropriate handling. Customers requesting replaced components must make that request before repair work begins. Safety, legal, environmental, or shipping requirements may prevent certain components from being returned.

9. Vehicle-Side Procedures

Unless specifically included in the applicable service description, the mail-in repair service does not include vehicle installation, registration, initialization, programming, coding, adaptation, calibration, fault clearing, or other vehicle-side procedures.

10. Installation

Installation should be performed according to applicable manufacturer procedures by a qualified technician familiar with the vehicle and lithium battery systems. Volt Core Inc. is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect connections, improper handling, reverse polarity, improper jump-starting, or failure to follow appropriate procedures.

11. External Vehicle Conditions

Volt Core Inc.'s repair service does not correct unrelated vehicle faults. Vehicle wiring faults, charging-system faults, DC-DC converter faults, overvoltage, short circuits, communication problems, water intrusion, accidents, incorrect installation, or other external conditions are not considered failures of Volt Core Inc.'s repair.

12. Limited Warranty

Unless otherwise clearly stated, Volt Core Inc. provides a 30-calendar-day limited repair warranty beginning on the date carrier tracking shows delivery of the repaired battery to the customer. The warranty applies only to the specific repair performed. Warranty procedures are governed by our Refund & Warranty Policy.

13. Scan Report Requirement

A complete vehicle diagnostic scan report is required before Volt Core Inc. will proceed with a warranty or repair-related refund claim. Volt Core Inc. must review the scan before authorizing a warranty return or providing a prepaid warranty label.

14. Ownership and Authorization

By sending property to Volt Core Inc., the customer represents that they own the property or have lawful authority from the owner to authorize the repair. Repair shops, dealerships, resellers, and other businesses are responsible for obtaining necessary authorization from their customers.

15. Photographs and Documentation

Volt Core Inc. may photograph, video, inspect, record, or otherwise document batteries and components for repair records, condition documentation, technical analysis, quality control, warranty evaluation, carrier claims, payment disputes, and internal business records.

Volt Core Inc. may also use non-identifying photographs or videos of batteries, components, and repair procedures for educational, promotional, website, social media, or marketing purposes. Before publicly using such material, Volt Core Inc. will make reasonable efforts to remove or obscure customer-identifying information, including customer names, addresses, shipping labels, and payment information.

16. Shipping

Shipping responsibilities, packaging requirements, lost or damaged shipments, customer addresses, shipping restrictions, and related matters are governed by our Shipping Policy.

17. Cancellations and Refunds

Once Volt Core Inc. has opened the battery or begun diagnostic, disassembly, testing, charging, balancing, electronic repair, soldering, programming, BMS work, or another repair procedure, the repair service is considered in progress and the repair-service charge becomes non-refundable at the customer's request. This does not eliminate rights under our Non-Repairable Battery provisions or valid limited warranty claims.

18. Unresponsive Customers

If Volt Core Inc. requires additional information, authorization, or a decision and the customer does not respond within 5 business days, Volt Core Inc. may close the repair order and return the property to the shipping address associated with the order. The return shipment is covered by the return shipping charge paid at checkout and is not charged or deducted a second time. Reasonable actual packaging/material costs may be deducted from the amount paid. Any remaining eligible service amount will be refunded.

19. Refusal of Service

Volt Core Inc. may reasonably refuse, discontinue, or cancel service involving unsafe or ineligible batteries, prohibited shipping, suspected fraud or stolen property, unlawful activity, abusive or threatening conduct, unreasonable safety concerns, impossible repairs, or material violations of these Terms. Applicable refunds will be handled according to our Refund & Warranty Policy.

20. Pricing and Website Errors

Volt Core Inc. may correct obvious pricing, compatibility, description, availability, typographical, or other website errors. If a service is materially mispriced or misdescribed because of an error, Volt Core Inc. may cancel the affected order and issue an applicable refund.

21. Payments

Customers agree to provide accurate billing and payment information and represent that they are authorized to use the payment method submitted. Payments may be processed through Shopify or other third-party payment providers.

22. Payment Disputes

Customers who believe there is a problem with a repair should contact Volt Core Inc. and allow a reasonable opportunity to evaluate the matter under our Refund & Warranty Policy. Volt Core Inc. may provide order records, tracking, communications, photographs, diagnostic information, test results, and applicable policies when responding to payment disputes or chargebacks.

23. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF VOLT CORE INC. ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO A REPAIR SERVICE PROVIDED THROUGH LITHIUMBATTERYREPAIR.COM, WHETHER ARISING FROM CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY THE CUSTOMER TO VOLT CORE INC. FOR THE SPECIFIC REPAIR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VOLT CORE INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXPENSES, including but not limited to vehicle removal or installation labor, towing, rental vehicles, loss of vehicle use, transportation expenses, third-party diagnostics, third-party programming/coding/calibration/initialization, storage charges, lost income, revenue, profits or business opportunities, business interruption, expenses resulting from unrelated vehicle faults, or other third-party or consequential expenses.

Volt Core Inc.'s limited warranty applies only to the specific repair performed and does not constitute a warranty or guarantee of the customer's entire battery, vehicle, electrical system, charging system, or other components.

Volt Core Inc. is not responsible for failures, damage, or expenses resulting from conditions outside the repair performed, including incorrect installation, improper handling, reverse polarity, overvoltage, improper jump-starting, charging-system faults, wiring faults, short circuits, water intrusion, accidents, impact damage, fire or excessive heat, unauthorized modifications, subsequent repair attempts, or other unrelated vehicle or electrical conditions.

Completion of a repair does not represent or guarantee that no other faults exist in the battery or vehicle. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, waive, or limit any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded, waived, or limited under applicable law.

24. Lost Return Shipment Remedy

If a return shipment arranged by Volt Core Inc. is confirmed lost by the carrier and the battery cannot be recovered, the remedy described in our Shipping Policy applies: Volt Core Inc. will handle the carrier claim and refund 100% of the amount paid for the applicable repair service, subject to rights that cannot legally be limited.

25. Business Customers

These Terms apply to individual consumers, automotive repair facilities, dealerships, resellers, fleet operators, and other businesses purchasing our services.

26. Age and Legal Capacity

Customers must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

27. Privacy

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

28. Governing Law

These Terms and transactions with Volt Core Inc. are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

29. Changes to Terms

Volt Core Inc. may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when an applicable order was placed will generally govern that transaction unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.

30. Severability

If any provision is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

31. Entire Agreement

These Terms, the applicable service description, Shipping Policy, Refund & Warranty Policy, Privacy Policy, and applicable written service-specific terms constitute the agreement concerning the applicable service.
